Coca-Cola was one of the first Charter Sponsors of Change the Course (CtC). In addition to supporting a number of replenishment projects across the U.S., they primarily wanted to leverage CtC as a way to engage their vendor network. Through their activation, Coca-Cola helped CtC recruit other businesses like Cinemark Theaters, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, and a key bottler, Swire Coca-Cola.
How They Inspire
Coca-Cola joined CtC to support high profile activations including the Waste Management Phoenix Open, which leverage their influence and the power of sports to drive awareness around water conservation and directly restore water to Arizona rivers.
The Impact They’re Making
Coca-Cola support has facilitated multiple projects across the United States that range in a variety of project benefits, which include environmental flow restoration, enhancing recreation and economic benefits, groundwater conservation and replenishment, securing water for communities and food production, and many more.
A few Coca-Cola sponsored projects include: Verde River Diamon’s Flow Restoration in Arizona, 15-Mile-Reach in Colorado, Spring Creek Irrigation Modernization in Georgia, Bowers Rock State Park Floodplain Restoration in Oregon, Prickly Pear Creek Flow Restoration in Montana, and Middle Rio Grande Flow Restoration in New Mexico.
